Shree Siddhivinayak Temple is Mumbai's most famous Ganesha temple. Below are the official darshan timings from the temple trust, including the longer Tuesday schedule.

Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Mandir in Prabhadevi was originally built on 19 November 1801 by Laxman Vithu and Deubai Patil and is dedicated to Siddhivinayak, the form of Ganesha said to grant wishes. The present multi-storey temple, with its pinkish stone facade and gilded central dome, has grown far beyond that small original shrine.

Inside, the wooden doors of the sanctum are carved with the Ashtavinayaka, the eight forms of Ganesha worshipped in Maharashtra, the inner roof of the sanctum is plated with gold, and the Ganesha idol sits directly beneath the dome. There is also a small Hanuman shrine. The temple is managed by the Shri Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple Trust under a 1980 state act and is the richest temple trust in the city.

Tuesday is the busiest day, when darshan starts in the early hours and runs until late at night, and queues are long on Sankashti and Vinayaki Chaturthi and during Ganesh Chaturthi. The trust asks visitors to dress in keeping with tradition, switch off mobile phones and leave footwear at the stand. Online pooja and personalised darshan bookings are offered through the trust's website and app.

The temple is on the main road in Prabhadevi, a short taxi ride from Dadar station, and Siddhivinayak metro station is nearby.
